Convenient Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your reservation at any time for any reason up until 7248 hours before travel for no charge/ 100% refund. Cancellations made within 7248 hours of travel are non-refundable and will incur a charge equivalent to a one-way fare.

WWe will always wait for delayed flights and still get you over to Tortola as long as you land in time to enter through customs. If your flight is delayed to the extent that we can't depart by boat from Red Hook early enough to reach Tortola before customs closes (usually after 6:00 p.m. with carry-on or 5:40 p.m. checked), then you will have to stay for the night in St Thomas. In this situation, the missed water taxi is 50% refundable, and you would also need to secure lodging in St Thomas for the night. At that point, you would let us know if you still want us to bring you over in the morning (and pay the remaining 50% penalty) or take the public ferry. This is where we emphasize the importance of trip interruption insurance to cover the cost of your hotel and the cost of the water taxi replacement the next day.

It is very important that you check with your credit card company or other travel insurance providers about coverage for chartered water taxi replacement the next day. There are no charges for trips canceled due to weather or maintenance issues.

Cancellations can only be made by emailing us at: info@dolphinshuttle.com. Cancellations made within 7248 hours of the scheduled fare or no-shows are 100% non-refundable and subject to the full charge.

Credit Card Charge Policy

Dolphin normally processes payment on the date of travel. However, depending on your circumstances, Dolphin may partially or fully process payment at any time after a booking is made. We authorize Dolphin to process payment at any time following the submission of this booking. Additionally, we acknowledge that we can cancel for a full refund up to 7248 hours before travel. Cancellations must be made in accordance with Dolphin's Cancellation Policy, as summarized above.

Minimum Guest Fare

We understand that there is a minimum fee for a 5-guest charter to Tortola and a 6-guest charter to Virgin Gorda. We also understand Dolphin will discuss the rideshare options available to us two or three days before our scheduled travel.
